Editing Member Information in the Dashboard
In Wellframe, Care Managers have the ability to update Member Information should something change. This is designed so that a member can continue to use their existing profile and retain all of the progress they have made on their care management journey!
Where can I edit Member Information?
You can edit a member’s information in the Member Details section of their profile.
- Click on Member Settings
- The window will open and default to the “Member Details” tab.
Why would I edit Member Information?
There are various reasons why a member’s information would need to be edited.
- Name Change: Certain life events can cause a member’s name to change. You can update the member’s first name (which is rare) or the member’s last name. You will want to make sure that the member’s name does match what is on their current policy.
- MemberID: Sometimes members coverages will change and their Wellframe Profile becomes ineligible. This does not mean they need a new profile. You can update the MemberID to the member’s new ID. If you use “File-based” eligibility, it will take until the next day for the member’s profile to show as “eligible” again. See here for additional information regarding eligibility.
- Date of Birth: In very rare cases, we can initially receive incorrect information in our eligibility data. This could cause a member to “lose” eligibility. However, if the date of birth has been corrected in the eligibility data, you can update the date of birth on the profile, and the member will show as “eligible” again.
- Gender: You can update the gender without any impact to eligibility. The selections available are: Male, Female, and Other.
- Cell phone number: You can edit this field if a member changes their phone number. It must however, be a valid US phone number.
- Email: You can update a member’s email, should their email address change. The member will then automatically be able to log in with that new email and their existing password.
Exception
Preferred Language: This field cannot be updated. The preferred language is automatically set according to the language configured on the members mobile device. If you try to change the language, the next time the member accesses the app, it will switch back to match the member’s phone settings.
