Inviting a Caregiver

You can invite a caregiver onto Wellframe to communicate with the care team and use all the feature of the app on behalf of an eligible member. A caregiver that would like to use Wellframe on behalf of a member must have a current PHI Authorization in place in accordance with your organization’s guidelines.

When inviting a caregiver, there are some additional steps, that must be completed, on the member invite form. It is also recommended that when sharing onboarding information, to let the caregiver know to choose the option “For Someone Else” when they get to the “Whose health will you be managing through your account” screen in the app.

Onboarding Instructions for the Caregiver:

  1. Download the app and enter the access code.
  2. Select the option “For Someone Else“.
  3. Confirm eligibility by entering the MEMBER’S member ID and Date Of Birth.
  4. Complete the Member’s personal information.
  5. Complete the caregiver’s OWN personal information.
  6. Complete the remaining screens as instructed in the app.

Once the caregiver gets to the end of the onboarding process in the app, they will be receive a notification that their authorization is “Pending Approval“. Once the Care Manager “authorizes” their account by confirming “PHI Authorization” in the dashboard, the caregiver will receive a notification of approval and will be able to log into the app.
