What is an access code?
Wellframe distributes various access codes to your organization that are linked to the care programs designed for your member populations. You may have a few different codes for different clinical contexts, such as post-discharge, wellness, and specific conditions.
When a member downloads the Wellframe app to be onboarded, they will need an access code to register and connect to your Dashboard. Note: This is the only time that the member will need to use this code.
The access code they use will connect them with the appropriate care program. Although access codes are unique to the care program, they DO NOT contain personal health information (PHI) or any specific identifiers visible to the member.
Providing the access code to the member
Members will receive the access codes either via a text message (Invite Member via the Dashboard), a brochure or other marketing material, or verbally from their Care Management Team.
Invite Member on the Dashboard
If you invite the member using the Invite Member form, the account invitation email contains the download link and access code already. If you send the onboarding link via text, the access code will be stored securely in the link and will pre-populate on the Wellframe app to simplify the registration process.
Verbally
You can provide the member’s access code verbally if needed, or if required according to your organizations policies. To locate the list of access codes:
- From the Wellframe Dashboard (any view), click the Invite Member button.
- Click the dropdown arrow on the Access Code text box. You will see the configured care programs and access codes associated with the care programs for your organization.
When does the member use the access code?
The access code is used during the onboarding process when the member downloads the app for the first time.
Members are prompted in the app to Sign Up so they can have access to the app. The first step after selecting the Sign Up button is to enter the access code.
Members would type in the code provided and click the SUBMIT button. Note: if configured for your organization, the access code can also automatically populate on the access code screen.

What is my access code?
- If the member doesn’t have an access code (and we don’t have a self-onboarding code available for that customer), you can always find the member’s access code, after they are invited, on the “App Access Info” tab on the member profile.
Why is my access code not working?
- Ensure the code has all lowercase letters, no spaces, and includes numbers if they exist.
