Onboarding Experience
The member will need to take a few steps to get the app downloaded properly to their device.
- Downloading the app onto the mobile device for the member
- Enter access code (*)
- Select User type and entering eligibility information.
- Complete registration
- EULA and Privacy policy
- Enable Notifications
Accessing the App
- From the invite member process, members will receive the link in an email or text.
- Customers my also have a landing page on their websites that they direct members too.
To manually download the app, do the following:
Go to the app in either the iPhone App or Google Play store on your smartphone or tablet and then click click on the App to download.
Please Note: For additional information for members, you can encourage members to visit wellframe.com/download to view the video that walks them through the steps of downloading and signing up for Wellframe!
Signing Up on the App
The “SIGN UP” process is a one-time process that will allow members to begin using the mobile app.
- Enter the access code and tap “Submit” – access code is the unique code that will connect the member with the appropriate care program and care manager. This is the “ONLY” time that the member will need to use this code
- When the member receives the message “Great, we have a match!” tap on the “Continue” button.
- The next screen asks the question “Whose health will you be managing through your account?”
- If a member is onboarding to manage their own health, they should click the “My Own” button.
- If a caregiver is onboarding to manage someone else’s health, they should click the “Someone Else’s” button.
- Next, they will be prompted to enter their Member ID and DOB. Note: Caregivers need to enter the Member ID and DOB for the member they are managing.
- Complete Your Profile – This is where you enter information such as name, dob, state of residence, cell phone number, etc. Note: If you are a caregiver, this should be YOUR information, not the member’s information – you will enter the member’s information on the next screen called “Complete a profile for the person you are caring for“.
- Enter your personal email address and create a “unique” password.
- PW Requirements:
- at least 8 characters total
- at least 1 letter
- at least 1 number
- at least 1 special character (@, !, &)

- Accept EULA & Privacy Policy. Note: They must scroll all the way to the bottom of each screen before the “Submit” buttons becomes active.
Enable Push Notifications
When the member completes onboarding, they will be prompted to enable notifications. Please encourage your members to say “Allow” so they will receive notifications about reminders, task, and messages from the Care Team.
Please Note: Doing so will allow Wellframe to send you important notifications about reminders, tasks and messages from your care team.
Setting Up – Physical Activity
At this time, they can also enable physical activity tracking. Wellframe can pull from the phone’s native step counter and use this to track if a member reaches their physical activity goal for the day.
Encourage iOS Members to Connect to Apple Health
To enable this, members should click on STEP COUNT in the Checklist and Select OK on the pop-up window.
- Tap the Physical Activity task.
- Tap Connect Now
Apple Health app will open to set permissions for Wellframe*
- Slide the button next to steps so that it turns green.
- Tap Allow in the tap-right corner.
- You are brought back to the Wellframe app and Wellframe will now track steps through Apple Health

Encourage Android Members to Connect to Google Health
Android members will be prompted to connect with Google Health automatically when they reach their checklist.
- Select your email or use another account.
- Scroll to the bottom of the window.
- Press Allow.

Setting Up the Biometric Lock
Apple
Members are introduced to the feature and prompted to enable touch or face ID (system prompt will be touch or face, depending on the user’s device) and a time-out period (Wellframe prompt).
- New members: prompt appears the second time they launch the app (to avoid too many prompts on day one).
- Existing members: prompt appears when they first launch the app after the app update.
Android
Members are introduced to the feature and prompted to enable touch or face ID (system prompt will be touch or face, depending on the user’s device) and a time-out period (Wellframe prompt).

Please note: Android users that set up their accounts prior to February 2024, may have a keypad pin lock on their application.
